Biography

I am currently a Ph.D Candidate at Department of Computer Science in Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU), advised by Prof. Byron Choi. I received my MSc degree in Electronic Engineering from The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) in 2021, and my Bachelor degree in Electronics and Information Engineering from University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC) in 2020. I am also a member of HKBU Database Group.

Research Interests

I am interested in bridging AI and database techniques (both AI4DB & DB4AI). My current focuses include:

• Transformer-based methods for time series analysis and multimodality learning from a data-driven perspective.
• Scalable and efficient transformer.
• Learned index for data series similarity search.
